Dear A Murray, I also am looking for Sarah Jane Davidson in Randolph Co, Indiana. Her family migrated from NC. She married a Thomas (or James Thomas Cook) from Wayne Co, Indiana, whose family came from SC. They migrated through Clinton Co, Indiana and may have spent some time in Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co, IN before ending up in Milford, Iroquois Co, IL in the 1860's and 1870's. Do let me know if you run into them in your travels.
