Isn't that interesting? My great-great-grandparents Thomas Davidson married to Catherine Davidson had a daughter Mary J and a son James -- but neither ever married. In fact, their eldest daughter Mary J. (my grandmother called her "Aunt Mae", as in "Aunt Mae ruled the roost") stayed with her parents at "the old home place" until they had both died (location: town of Albany, Pepin County, Wisconsin) and then she sold the farm and moved to Eau Claire. Brother James -- the 3rd child in a large family -- was up in Canada on a wheat farm when his mother Catherine died in 1899 -- so noted in her obituary -- but he never married either and at the time of his death was living at the same residence in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Both were very old when they died. Interesting coincidence of names...but not my connections, unfortunately. Freda J Zimmerman Griffin
