I am trying to find out about 5 Davidson brothers that fought in the War of 1812 and were given land in Ohio in return for their military service. I am a descenant through Joseph Davidson who was married to Della Hite who were the parents of my grandmother Maudell R. Davidson of Mentone, Indiana. Any assistance would be appreciated. Do you have any more information about the 5 Davidson brothers who were given land in Ohio? I am trying to find the parents of Abigail Davidson who was born in Highland Co., Ohio, 1814 or 1816. Abigail married Peter Colvin and by 1850 they had moved to Richland Co., IL. Thanks for any help.
