Just saw this post and was excited to see all of these surnames. Purity Davidson who was b NC in 1800 is my gr,gr,gr grandmother. She was married to Dean Rogers and their children were born in Rutherford Co., NC. Please let me know if you think there is any connection to your Davidsons.
