I am trying to figure how we are tied in family wise. I have paperwork that show that William was born 1736 and died 5/16/1814. He was a Major at the time, at Kings Mountain Battle. He married Margaret McConnell. Their children were: Mary, John, Hugh (my 4th great grandfather), George, Jean, Sarah and Elizabeth. Trying to get staight on the death dates.
