Lynne, He was born in 1854 in Scotland (probably Glasgow; but not confirmed). He immigrated to the US about 1870ish as a young boy. We don't really know much more than that until he's confirmed in Ratcliff, AR, in 1891 when his son was born. He died in 1906 in Indian Territory in a small river town called Tamaha.
