Such a place does exist and I grew up there. I am descended from the Davidson's on my mother's side and I know they were in Highland County, Ohio (which was formed in part from a portion of Clermont County) as early as 1803. My ggg grandfather, John Benjamin Davidson was born there either 23 Jan 1803 or 23 Dec 1803. I don't know his father's name but I have information that there were Davidson's on a wagon train that arrived in Highland County a couple of years before then. Perhaps we have some common ancestors.
