I have been watching this "site" closely, watching for the right link. There doesn't seem to be one. Some report there were three DAVIDSON brothrers, others say two, and we have a few , including myself, that have read of seven brothers , all fighting for independance in the Rev. War. If we all stem from two, three, or seven brothers, they were a very prolific clan. Who was the father of these brothers?? With some reservations, at this point in time, I can go back to William born 1725 in Scotland?? Or was it Scotland via Ireland?? Ireland via Scotland ?? William died in Bucks Co., 25 JAn. 1805. Somewhere out there , there has to be some Davidson with the right answers. >From what I have read, of all your offerings and queries, most of the Davidson ended up in the south??? Will appreciate any additions, corrections, etc. This Davidson site is one of the most active ones on the net. Lois S.W.
Hi Lois I think I have an Adam Davidson, with a son Ebenezer, who lived in Bucks County around 1800, before moving West to Allegheny and Beaver County. Any connections? Lois, do you know some of the other Davidson sites off-hand? (I am descended from Col. Wm. Lee Davidson (not the Maj.; not the Gen.) of Buncombe County, NC. Can't go back any further so far.
