Am looking for descendents of Jacob and Sarah Selvage Davidson who married in Grainger Co, TN, January 30, 1814. Is believed to be the Jacob Davidson in the 1830, 1840, and 1850 Hardin CO, TN censuses. Believe that Sarah (Sallie) died before 1850. Hi, I have often wondered if this Jacob was the brother of William Davidson . If he is then it would be almost enough evidence to make me believe that William & Jacob were the children of James & Hannah Davidson from Jefferson County, Tn. They had a son William born 1783 and a Jacob born 26 March 1790. I saw a church record somewhere I believe Wayne County Tn where William & Jacob and their wives joined a church in 1830. (No names for wives). What do you think?
