There were brothers in the Rev. War. By the time of the war, the earlier immigrants had married, had children, and even grandchildren. They were VERY prolific. Some died, of course, but many lived to marry and have many children of their own. My gmother and gfather both were Davidsons...one came from John of the three (two?) brothers, and one came from John who came from Scotland via Ireland in 1679 (?) They all at that time seemed to have gone to Ireland first, having fled Scotland because of their religion. I would like to know of the link, if one, between the two John Davidsons. If you like, write me and I will give you a rundown of some of those in that time frame. I have a Wm. several, in fact, on both sides.
