Okay John, Thanks for clearing that up. The Robert I'm looking for was in Lancaster or Cumberland county before moving to Washington Co, PA in about 1770. He was born about 1752 and married a lady called Elizabeth. (no maiden name, yet some have said that she was a KILE or KYLE. Anyway, my Robert stayed in Washington County until it became Beaver County in 1800. He died there in 1813-14. As you probably know, I have been hunting for his parents for about twelve years now. We have talked in the past. Another thing that I picked up since then is that he was in the RW from 1781-83. I believe some folks called them Frontier Rangers.
