Surnames: Davison Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FNR.2ACEB/1436.1462.1.1.2 Message Board Post: (obtained from a generous Davison researcher) She does not have a copy of the Will but has these comments about reading it/her notes and comparing it to the Will for Samuel (which I'll include notes later)... -will is dated Sept. 2, 1730 and probated Nov. 6, 1739 filed in Lancaster Co., PA, Strasbourg Twp. Executors: Sons, John and Samuel Davison, named Wife: Isabella, children: Elizabeth, Mary, John and Samuel, Granchild: James (no last name). No ages are given in either of the wills.Since both John & Samuel were namedthe executors of his will, they were both of legal age...this places thier birth years at least by 1718 for Samuel and 1715 for John. They could have been older than 21 and 24...Alexander named a grandson James without a last name so this grandson could be one of his daughter's chldren possibly Elizabeth since she was name first...Isabella ws definitely his wife. I have looked for other records on both Alexander and Samuel and have not found any conclusive info. Also di not find Britton Twp or Strasbourg Twp. ... other counties being carved from Lancaster and with some early records destroyed...
