Ben - Do you have any of these names in your line: Levi, Josiah, Alvoree? I feel that there is probably a connection -- or maybe its just coincidence, but let me relate the following. My ancestor, Levi, born 1799 and died in Perry Co., TN in 1851. The court house burned, of course, so records are missing. However, I did locate on microfilm in the Nashville, TN archives a portion of information relating to :Levi and his estate. Alvoree Davidson (of Christian/Greene Co., Mo) and G. A. Dabbs were adm. of his estate and Aquila Davidson signed a trust or warranty deed to them in their capacity as admin. of Levi's estate for $18.76 for the value of his carpenter tools for some kind of debt he owed. I have no more information that this. It is possible that Alvoree is the son of Levi and that Aquila could be a nephew but I'm at a brick wall. Do you have any information that could help?
