I found this in the Pa. Archives 5th series Vol.lV p.519 William Davidson - served from April 13, 1777-May 1781 as Sergeant in Eleventh Penna. Regt. Company commanded by Capt. Matthew Irwin. Was Discharged and removed to Erie Co. in 1803. Lost his left eye from injury received by fall of a tree. In 1809 was again wounded in like manner. " Numerus" family of children.
