Have you tried the Canadian Census Indices for the various years covering your period of interest? Unfortunately, the Parliament has not agreed to release much of the 20th Century census data. There is also an Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid at <http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa/> that might be helpful to you. Some Canadian genealogical groups (County and Township) and independent researchers are beginning to collect Monument Inscriptions (MIs) from cemeteries in their areas.
