I have a James Davidson born in Va about 1780. But he died in Eldred, Ill. Can we be connected? Do you have any names of children? The James I have, has a son named Andrew Jackson Davidson. He might have brothers named John, Robert, Moses, and William but I'm not quite sure yet. Do you have any other info. on James H. Davidson? Jerusha
I am looking for a Phillip R Davidson who would have been the brother to Eugene Doyle Davidson b:1906 (my grandfather), John Clifton b:1901, Frank, & Christina b:1915. I believe he moved to California and we have lost all ties. Any relation?
Looking for information on Peter Davidson b:3/14/1837 in Grange, Banffshire to James Davidson and Helen Simpson m:5/5/1818 in Rathven. Peter married Christina Ross (from Birse), 10/21/1866 in Kincardine O'Neil, Aberdeen. They immigrated to Georgia in 1885 with four out of five children. Peter wrote several books, was very educated and played the violin. He must have had siblings because he was born 19 years after his parents married. Please check! I have hit a brick wall.

I am trying to locate any family member of BRUCE DAVIDSON, most likely in the state of AZ. I have a date of birth, May 10, 1930 and I know his mother's birthdate was August 2, but I don't know her name or the year. BRUCE was born in Phoenix AZ. His mother's family is believed to be from Cairo, IL and with a name like AUTRINA (??). If you have any information that could lead me to Mr. Davidson or any family member, please email me at Amy_Knox@yahoo.com. I have a valuable item of his, thank you.

Terry, Long time no see. I just wanted to let you know I was still alive and well...well busy anyway. I can't make this long since we're trying to get ready to run off on vacation early tomorrow morning. I can't seem to find Nadine Ford's email address. Was wondering if you could send it to me please. If you don't get this right away or can't reply before tonight then please send her an email for me just saying I'm trying to get in touch with her. I'll be incommunicado for a week at least. Thanks and I'll try to stay in much better touch. Ken Davison
I am searching for any information which might lead to the derivation of the first and middle name of Amanda Fitzellen. There is an Amanda Fitzellen Mays, daughter of Catherine Evans Mays. Were Catherine Evans and Mary Ann Evans Sisters? Is there a common ancestor? Mary Ann Evans, born August 20, 1800, Washington Co. Pensylvania to Abraham Evans and Mary Ann Ellis.
I am terrible sorry I don't know anything about your Joshua. I am only familiar with those that went to Brown Co. OH. I am not familiar with Fleming Davidson or his parents Wm. Davidson & Sarah (Mary) Fleming Davidson. I would like to know more about them. Becky
Lydia (Lyda, Lida) Oliver, born 1869, Washington Co., OH, married John Davidson after 1900. She resided in Philadelphia, PA and died 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA. She is buried Parkersburg, Wood Co., WV. What happened to John Davidson? He is not mentioned in her obituary. Where is he buried?
In Putnam's Monthly Historical Magazine of Dec. 1895, Milon Davidson of Newfane, VT, entered the following information and query which I quote: "William Davidson emigrated from Moneymore in the north of Ireland to this country in 1728. Settled first in Woburn, Mass., then in Tewksbury, same state, where he died June 6, 1757. Wanted to know where he was buried. "He had, by his first wife (Mary Alexander), children, Robert, Nathaniel, William, Elizabeth, John, George, and Jane. "Jane Davidson married Thomas Campbell, a descendant of the Duke of Argyle, Scotland. They had children John, Nathaniel, and Hugh Argyle. Information wanted concerning the family and descendants of John Campbell. Also whether Thomas and Jane Campbell had a son William, and a daughter Mary." I am hoping that Milon Davidson was successful in finding an answer to his query and that one of his descendants or relatives is a member of this list and can provide me with the information. I descended from Hugh Argyle Campbell. Although I have information about the parents of Jane Davidson I have nothing about the parents of Thomas Campbell. All I know is that Thomas Campbell married Jane Davidson in Billerica, MA, on 3 May 1733 and they moved to Londonderry, NH, about 1734 and eventually to Bedford, NH, where their son Hugh Argyle Campbell was born 1744. It is unlikely that Thomas Campbell descended from the Duke of Argyll, although this rumor has persisted now for about 200 years, but more likely that he emigrated from Norther Ireland. If anyone knows anything or has any ideas about how to trace Thomas, then I'd like to hear from you. George Campbell g.campbell@yline.com
Anyone know if Richard Davidson b. 1812-13 in Greene Co., OH is related to this family? I am searching for him! He and his parents moved to IN when Richard was young. He married Evaline Applegate in 1836 in Delaware Co., IN and then they lived in Franklin County. Anyone know any links to this family??? The surname of "Riley" appears with the family on the 1880 census. Appreciate any information. Thanks. F. Becky, This is probably an unrelated family, but would you take a look at it to see if you can find a connection to your tree. What caught my eye was Joshua Davidson and Mary Green of Ohio. It is probably just a coinsidence, but I have a David son of Josiah/Joseph married to a Greene of Ohio.
