    1. Re: [DAVIDSON-L] 3 brothers from Scotland, 1700s, to Davenport, OK
    2. George I have a question...I have heard about these three brothers for several years. My gg grandfather was born in WA/VA in 1825, one Andrew Jackson Davidson. He next appears in Ohio and there married Clarinda Barnes Mix, in 1845. My question, did they all go west together. There had to be more than three Davidson's or each of them had 20 kids apeace and they all lived. DickDavidson

    1. Re: [DAVIDSON-L] Davidson
    2. Linda, Could you be talking about my gg grandfather James who was married to Margaret? I believe he was born in Beaver County but he mostly lived in and was buried in Sunville, PA (now Venango county). He usually went by Davison. I'm checking email on vacation here, and I'm not sure of the mother's name of my James...and my papers are back home. Linda

    2. The 1880 census of Allegany county, Marylands shows the following Davidsons - Thomas S., age 14, Angus ,age 41 and John D., age 32. All these three were living in different households, and all indicate that they were born in Nova Scotia and had only been in U.S. for about ten years. Thanks, George Davidson ............... jasaliby@aol.com wrote: > Grandparents: James Samuel and Laura Frances (Fannie) Davidson. She was also a Davidson. I have certified geneological research beginning with 3 brothers from Scotland in mid 1700s. I'd appreciate info on any above names and families and will share what I have. James married my mother Geroldyne Gold in 1931. They divorced. He was married previously and I would like info on that. Around '40 he married Lucille Brown. > > ==== DAVIDSON Mailing List ==== > DAVIDSON - DAVISON - DAVISSON Web Page > http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~genea/davidson.html
