My gr.gr.g.father, Wm C.Davidson, was born in Laurens County S.C.in 1817. His father was James. We are diligently searching for info re: James family. I find no mention of a Thomas, but who knows- may be part of same family.Dates are certainly in the same area. Would love to have any info you may share.

Am wondering if your Davidson were related to Purity Davidson Rogers? She was my gr-gr-gr-grandmother. My grandmother was Ruth Hawkins Kates who lived in Claremore, Rogers County, OK for many years.
