    2. This is to Dave and everyone else who has replied to me. I heard from Dave right away about my question. I will now bronze his MOST recent email --so I won't forget or misplace my password or my kit number in the future. I want to thank the rest of our Davidson Clan for trying to help this old dinosaur work through this high tech stuff. Isn't it exciting? I really appreciate all the people putting their time and effort into this DNA project. I am just looking forward to comparing my kit with others. Anna Gayle DAVDISON McClure

We show that her husband is John Wilson, and that they have a daughter, Sarah J., born 1867. I am not sure where the information about John Wilson came from (shame on me) although with some digging could likely find out, but as I look at it today, it appears to have been an error. If it turns out that her husband was John Keeth, the birth of Sarah in 1867 would coincide with the marriage in 1866. If it turns out that her husband was John Keeth, as your record shows, then my next question would be - do you have a record of Jonathan Keeth, born 1 December 1860? We have Melvina's parents Richard D. and Lucinda Burns Davidson, and 11 siblings for Melvina. We have no information on siblings of Richard, nor his parents. Richard and Lucinda were married in Miller County, and her parents and family were living in Miller County for many years, although they moved to Maries County in mid-1850s. If you have siblings for your Melvina, please send that information to me at [email protected] If the siblings are the same as those we show, we have a match. If the siblings are different, it is likely that your Melvina is the daughter of one of Richard's siblings. Families had a custom of each descendent line naming their children with the same names as the other descendent lines. There were Davidson men living in Miller County who could have been brothers or cousins of our Richard. If your Melvina is one of their descendents, and we can determine which one, it would go a long way to helping us locate the generation above Richard - I think. Look forward to hearing from you. 2. I have no reason to feel the following Davidson men are connected to me, but in researching Robert Davidson from Georgia, I found two articles that may be of interest to others. ***The Atlanta Constitution 21 January, 1900 Telegraph Brevities The tug Hero was run into and sunk by a barge yesterday morning at Mobile, Ala., and the engineer, Robert Davidson, was drowned. ***The Atlanta Constitution 28 December, 1913 Davidson - Reid Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Davidson, of Monticello, announce the marriage of their daughter, Susie Ruth, to Mr. Russell Thomas Reid, of Crawfordville, Ga., on December 21. I would love it, if this helps someone. Anna Gayle
