To whomsoever it may concern: This may be redundant now, but............. According to several lists I have received from Newberry Davenport descendants, James (Madison) Davenport and Elizabeth Gilliam had a son named Jonathan (his headstone says he is their son) who named a child James Madison. This James Madison Davenport was born in 1811 and married Marie Antoineete E Waters. This also shows up on the LDS IGI. I have put the name Madison in parenthese because it is not on the headstone, but many identify him as such, and I just wanted to let them know who I am referring to. A Loyalist wouldn't very likely be in the DAR lists rightfully. Pauline Ann Graham wrote: > > Dear Robert Brooke > Thank you so much for your very prompt reply.
