Hi All, I am new to this web site. I have been looking for parents of my Chris C. Davenport for about 12 years, hope somebody out there can be of some help. Christopher Columbus Davenport was born 25 Aug 1822 in Bedford Co, VA married Nancy (Nannie) Angle, 16 Jan 1840 in Richmond City, Hanover Co, VA. They had one daughter Mary Emma Davenport that married Isaac H. Walling. I believe Chris had a brother Jack and a sister Fannie that married a Booker.(not certain). They went to Baylis, Pike County, IL in ca 1876. He was listed as being a carpenter and mechanic having built several buildings in Pike Co, IL. And after all these years that is the extent of my findings. Please can someone help me? Thanks in advance, Jackie in Idaho
