To Earl: I'll try to go through my Kentucky indexes tonight for you to see what I can find, but I have to agree with Diana Rose who said that only the name of the head of the household is listed in the 1830 and 1840 census. What I will try to do, though, is give you the names of all the Davenport heads of households in those two censuses, provided there aren't too many, and that should give you any number of possible counties to consider. Then you might try the genealogical societies in those counties to see what you can find. Finding a child in those years by using the census is going to be difficult, but we'll see what we come up with. MargoBelle
