I was looking through some old posts and came across one where it mentions that there were several Humphrey Davenports that moved around the New York State, Utica and other areas. It mentions that Humphrey had some children that remained in NY and didn't move with him to NJ. I wanted to know if anybody did get a chance to check out the Kingston DRC records. The note also mentions a Thomas Davenport that was said to be a relative of Humphrey. He lived in the Cold Spring area of NY. I'm curious if anybody has any info on this Thomas. My Thomas Davenport was married to Jane Kimble (d.1903). They had a son named William (b. 2-28-1864, d 4-13-1949 m. Martha Rome). I don't know if Thomas and Jane were were married in NY or NJ. They eventually did move to NJ to the Oak Ridge/Milton area. If this sounds familiar to anyone, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks! Chris Strube :)
