    3. List, I have a will of William T. Davenport dated 11 July 1803 and at the end I have some questions; I William T. Davenport of Cumberland Co. do make and ordain this my last will and testament and words following to wit, First I give unto my wife Elizabeth M. Davenport (I believe Elizabeth McNamar) all my interest in the personal Estate which I have or shall receive by her and my father William Davenport's Estate during her natural life and existence and after her death to be equally divided between my children. I also give unto her during life one hundred and twenty acres of land or thereabouts which was allotted to me in the division of my Father William Davenport decd and her death to be equally divided between my children the monies due me in my private capacity I wish laid out in the schooling of my children the amount of which may be seen by referring to a memorandum book of mine; and after the business of the late concern of W & A Davenport of Cartersville is finally settled all the debts due from said concern is paid, the monies coming me, I also wish laid out in schooling my children; Secondly I hereby appoint William Taylor, Jacob Tariss and Peter Phillips my executors to manage my private Estate and Thomas H. Walton and Charles F. Bates executors to manage my interest in the late concern of William & Alx Davenport. Witness my hand this Eleventh day of July 1803. Ferguson shall be paid in full the bal of services & in building my house also that Jiles Hope shall be paid the bal of his services to finish the brick work and that Jesse Davenport be paid for his work after it is done for building a smoak house & kitchen after deducting his acct agreeable to bargain July 11, 1803 Question 1: Does anyone know of the Estate of William Davenport and where it was? Question 2: There is some thought that the house mentioned is the same one that is in the GOODMAN family for generations but the item that mentions brickwork throws me. The house I am talking about is a frame house. Any thoughts? Question 3: Anybody know what the "concern"s are that he mentioned?
