Chris, If memory serves me, Cornelius DAVENPORT lived in Milton and he was the son of the last Humphrey on my line (whom I call "Humphrey#3"). There were a few other Humphreys after that time on other lines though. Interesting that he'd move there, near where Cornelius lived. All, Just had a real thrill on another family line the last two days. Recently I "found" a "new" great-great-great uncle who was a CW soldier and today I visited the National Archives and got to handle the actual original enlistment papers for him. Pretty astounding feeling. Yesterday I visited his grave at Arlington. Mucho information gleaned from that and some other sources that dropped in my lap. I'm walking on air! Poor guy never had a chance to marry nor raise a family. My direct ancestor and two uncles all perished in May and June, 1864. One was his brother (this newly found one), and the other was his wife's brother. Doug
