Janet, you have two Martin Davenports and I think you are confusing the two. Davis Davenport is the first in line that we have positive proof of. He was born around 1660 and died before 1735 in Va. His oldest son was Martin Sr., born around 1682 and died in 1735 in Va. He married Dorothy Glover. Their third child was Thomas, born 1711 in Va. and died in 1809 in N.C. He married Dorothy (?). Their fourth child was Martin, born around 1739 in Va. and died in 1815 in N.C. He was married to Hannah Baker and Martha Browning.
