Hello Everyone I hope someone out there may be able to provide additional information on my ggrandfather - Gunter Hunter Davenport. Most of the limited information I have comes from the 1910 Cherokee County, Tx Federal Census. He was born c1859 in AL, mrd Ida Bell ____ born c1870 in AL. They married c1888 in AL. I have no idea where in AL they were born/married. I also have no idea when or where they died. This was the first marriage for both of them. The children from their union: Geneva (was called Nivi), Nattie (twin of Geneva), Ira, Earnest, Jessie, Ollie (my grandmother), Louis, Hattie, Mattie, and Grady. To the best of my knowledge most, if not all, of the children were born in TX. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
