Nancy Davenport, The Claiborne I had reference to was b. in WC, VA and later removed to Wayne Co., KY. So I don't think we are talking about the same Claiborne. There were several by that name in the families of his descendants. Perhaps this is where your Claiborne came from. I do not know of a Claiborne from GA but would be interested in knowing more.
