Chris, I am directly descended of Thomas William DAVENPORT. If your Thomas was from Kingston, NY, that would be in the east, my DAVENPORTs are from the Buffalo area. With the similar names & time frame, it could be possible that your Thomas was descended of a brother, or other relation, of my Cornelius Briggs DAVENPORT I, the father of Benjamin, but I don't see any kind of direct connection. I don't have any information on Cornelius except that he & Susan A. were Benjamin's parents. Benjamin Stockton DAVENPORT; b. 12-3-1810; was an early resident of Buffalo, NY & was there in 1813. He came to Lockport, Niagara, NY in 1820. Phoebe ALLEN; b. 9-23-1810; came to Lockport in July of 1824 from Farmington, Ontario, NY. I do have the info on their eight children.
