Can anyone help me with my grandfathers family please. I am looking for decendents of Burtis Elmer Davenport originally from Summerfield, Carleton County, N.B. then moved to Blaine, Maine. He had a brother Judson, a sister Maud, and it is thought but not proven, a cousin to Zibe Davenport of Easton, Me. His father was Wallace Davenport changed to Danford after he married his second wife so as not to put shame on her good name. Burtis's Mother was Jane Green from Summerfield, Carleton County and is buried in the cemetery that is now an island due to the Beachwood Dam and her remains wasn't found when they removed the rest of the people from there. Surely, someone must know something that they could help me out with, I know that there was other children in the second marriage, but have no names and it seems that no one knows anything in the family.
