Yes. I have access to the Calif State library Sutro in San Francisco. I think I have found most of the published data re the Davenport's, but never found a true connection for Thomas. He was an early Dorchester settler, and I believe one son went south to Savannah, and one to Rhode Island and a son there went to Monterey California. Probably Thomas was a cousin of Reverend John Davenport who settle New Haven and Yale college, and I know the Reverend's family line and his brothers and Uncles, but no listing of a son Thomas of any of these people. Rev, john came to Dorchester after Thomas was there, then went to New Haven. However Rev. John was highly educated, and Thomas used a sign for his Signature, so may have been illiterate but he was very successful in his life time. probably was a weaver. Steve davenport
