My Thomas arrived in Dorchester by 1635. He came before Rev. John of Conn. fame. I believe. Some people think his wife was Mary Forth of Plymouth. He had 9 children including Thomas killed in Prince Phillip War, Charles, Jonathan, Ebenezer, and john. I am in the Ebenizer,Ebenizer, Isaac line. Thomas may have been a cousin of Rev. John who helped organize the Mass. Bay Colony. A Thomas Dobson in a will of 1626 in London bequested money to Mrs. Mary Davenport and her son Thomas. He also gave money to Rev. John Davenport who was then minister of St. Steven's church on Colman St. London. Dobson is referred to as an uncle of Rev John. Steve Davenport
