To Ellen in Idaho and Mary, Sorry for the timing delay in writing on this subject. But talking about Isham Davenport... 1st to Ellen... yes, I would agree with 22 children he didn't have much traveling time. Would you believe I just found another living granddaughter to Isham born 1805. That makes 5 that I know of still living.... Remarkable! I am real interested in what Missouri counties had both Davenports and Halls. I know I found some Halls..... brothers Isham Hall Williams and John Davenport Williams... That tells you something... but, you say you found a real Isham Hall and also Davenports in that same county.... Can you (or will you) tell me the county so I can see what I can see... June and I keep pretty much in touch. Poor lady has a bum thumb right now... Surgery. Now, to Mary... You say the Isham line in VA is Joel Davenport to John Davenport. Am I correct and you are saying or thinking that Joel is father to John??? I've always 'thought' that Joel was probably a brother to John, but maybe I've missed something along the way. Any light you can shed on this subject I sure would appreciate! Thanks Bonnie
