Hello Earl, I've been researching Isham Davenport, son of John and Lucy Davenport for quite a few years now which has not been real easy. Especially talking about his early family. I believe he has been married 4 times - because of Census Records for the first marriage. Marriage 2, 3 and 4 are documented. #1 ? had 3 children. Names I 'believe to be correct are Joel - born c 1829 - died 1850 Russell Co., VA - Mary Polly - b. about 1826 in Russell Co., VA married Andrew Williams - Lucinda Davenport b. c 1829 married Isaac Kestner. (Don't know what that means) Wife # 3 is Frances Jennings Hall m. Dec. 23, 1848 1. Elizabeth Davenport b. 1850 Russell Co., VA m. Oliver H. Powers Aug 12, 1869 2.
