Bonnie, Thanks for you suggestion that I check the 1840 Pike Co., GA census. I have seen the census now, and it appears that all of the ages agree with what I already had for Presley Davenport's family.The only thing that differed was that the oldest child was enumerated as female, instead of male. This could quite possibly have been a mistake by the enumerator.
