My thanks also to Nevada Jack and the many IT people who saved us from impending doom. I would also like to nominate my wife Susan as my Y2K Hero as well. As the Purchasing Systems Administrator for a large pharmaceutical company, she is in charge of their vendor file. She was delegated by her manager to be on their company's Y2K Contingency Team. She attended endless meetings since February and had to work several Saturdays and weeknights in the Fall. She worked closely with several IT people and sent out countless mailings to vendors. Susan and I traditionally have the week off between Christmas and New Years Day. But while I was visiting Court Houses, libraries, and cemeteries across North Central Texas, she was at work. And yes, she did work New Years Day. My hat is off to Susan, Nevada Jack, and everyone else for all of their time and effort given. Paul
