Benjamin Davenport and his son John Davenport come from the line of Ormus De Davenport. Benjamin Davenport , born 1743 and died 1787 was married to Ann Temple. John Davenport, his son was born 1770 and died 1830. He married Ann Frances Willis. My question is who was the one who imigrated to America. I was told Ann and John imigrated to America . I checked with Cheshire-L@rootsweb. and know has gotten back yet. Does anyone know who it was that came to America. I Have heard stories about GGGGRANFATHER jOHN COMING FROM jERSEY England.
