I was wondering what Seaborn Davenport did for a living in Georgia prior to the family moving to Indian Territory. Also, did he join the confederacy from Georgia or from Texas? I have a S L. Davenport that joined from Texas, but that doesn't make sense when he had a wife and 12 children living in Georgia. Also what did his father do? If anyone has answers to these questions I would most appreciate correspondence. I am trying to get a Midkiff book published and I need a few answers on Lillie Davenports family.
