We aren't sure whether that is our John Midkiff or not. We are definite that Franklin Preston is a direct ancestor, but we are not able to find proof of who his father was. There was another John Midkiff living near Franklin Preston, and also a Haisten Midkiff, so we think they are his father and brother.
