Teri, Found it. James Franklin Davenport-on same page as James M. was in NC at the same time as James M.Davenport. They married sisters. James F.Davenport married Mary Etta Spruill and James M. Davenport married Celia Ann Spruill. They were the daughters of Jordan Spruill and Mary Polly Tarkington/Tarkenton. I have more info on James F. if you would like to post it. This is NOT the James Franklin Davenport I have asked about previously in my posting on 3-14 which said: "I'm looking for info about the family connections of James Franklin Davenport, b 1-18-1889, d 5-13-1961(this was wrong in my previous posting); son of James Allen Davenport, b 10-7-1852, d 5-13-1922. Both are buried in Greenville, SC." However, with the exact same name I am suspicious they may be related. My James Franklin was never married and I have more info on him if anyone has a clue about him.
