Thanks Cheryl, This isn't quite what I was looking for, but it used to be on this website. The old page had 6 generations of the descendents of Davis Davenport listed.. Also, the directory says that Doc's topic on the Pamunkey Davenports is on the website. Maybe I'm blind but I can't find it. -Carol- Davis Davenport - Martin Davenport - Mary Davenport/Henry Gambill At 08:26 PM 8/30/2005, you wrote: >Carol try here and see if this is it. The web site with Doc's "6" generations of the descendants of Davis Davenport has been "suspended" until further notice. Based on his latest research, it contained many errors that he didn't want propagated on the web. Presumably, we will publish a new page after we are sure that all of our information is correct. There's no good reason to publish bad information. I will shortly remove the statement in the Directory that says: "He served as compiler of the recently published "The Pamunkey Davenports of Colonial Virginia" (which can be found on this web site)." Hopefully, that will prevent future confusion. If you have specific questions regarding your Pamunkey heritage, please post them here on this list.
