I don't know if this will help or not--but years ago when I was in Savannah Georgia there is a Davenport House there and I went to the Georgia Historical Society and they had the lineage of the Savannah Davenports---they came from SC--Maybe write to the Georgia Historical Society in Savannah and see if they have anything???
