You said your grandmother was a Davenport and you may have a brother to test. --------- The following will work OK for Y-DNA: If your grandmother was born with the Davenport name then the male Davenport descendants of her brothers are OK for testing. If your grandmother married a Davenport then any of their male Davenport descendants are OK. The following will not work: If your (and your 3 brother's) father is not a Davenport.
