Don't think we'll match up but here's my Davenports from that time period: Elisha T. DAVENPORT born 28 Jan 1825 in Kentucky to Marshall Booker DAVENPORT & Levicie COOK/ DAVENPORT both of Kentucky. They migrated to Illinois later. Elisha was 1 of 2 persons who founded Crane Creek, Mason Co. Ill. & he married Sophia BALES at that location 4 April 1849. They had 10 children all born at Crane Creek: John W. born 1850 Benjamin F. born 1852 Elisha Thomas Jr. born 1854 Elizabeth Ann 1856 Henry 1857 Robert Lee 1861 Pleasant G. 1862 Marshall 1866 James P. 1869 Harvey B. 1872 Elisha was killed in a farm accident 25 Mar 1888 He had property all over a 4 state area that the kids moved to. Marshall Booker had a brother named Henry. there were others but my computer short circuited & then crashed and when all was said & done I lost all 3 of my back up disks so have been slowly re-entering everything & haven't gotten to the papers showing his siblings yet. But anyway Marshall Booker DAVENPORT's parent were Presley DAVENPORT & Susannah GLOVER of Charlotte Co. VA.
