Hello- Recent DNA testing has brought about some misconceptions concerning the family lines of Butch and myself. Butch's test, #8742 at DavenportDNA.com indicates that his line, that of William b. 1664 Coventry, CT- son of Humphrey b.ca. 1600, is not genetically related to the Thomas of Dorchester line b. 1615 Dorchester, England. This in no way indicates the fate of my line, that of Humphrey Jr b. 12 Sep 1656- son of Humphrey b. ca. 1600. There has been no tests done on anyone of my line. Until someone in my line has been tested, it's best not to make assumptions. Our credibility has also been questioned due to lack of sources on our site. Our sources have always been available upon request, no such request has ever been made. I'm in the process of adding our sources to our site. As I have not put these sources into my genealogy program, this will take some time. I must go through literally mountains of paperwork to find "each and every" source. Sources for Orme's maternal line are posted, as are sources for Ordgar down to Orme. Orme down to Roger, son of Vivian are also on the site. Our motto is no longer "We are right until proven wrong", due to the fact that this was offensive to some people.
