Ran across this Davenport spot the other day. I had done, in the eighties, the research on my wife's Davenport line back to Thomas of Dorchester. We saw the historically-designated four Davenport homes in Milton, MA, and even went through the John Davenport home built in 1706. I've always wondered whether anybody had been able to find material on Thomas's origins back in England. Today's email made some reference to that, but is there more informayion available?
