I doubt this DNA testing reveals anything about hereditary diseases.. though if someone knew what to look for it might be in there. I am a DNA match for the Newberry Davenports, but have never heard of HHT in any of my relatives, though I had heard someone had hemophilia, but do not recall if it was a married-into relative or a blood relative. One of my cousins has had several children with neuromuscular disease, which causes severe skeletal deformities and can result in early death. Her doctors told her it was a hereditary disorder, and told her it was the Devenport line, merely by looking at pictures of the parents and grandparents.... slight build, sloping shoulders, often a bit stooped in posture. Never heard any others in our side of the Devenports with neuromuscular disease, in spite of the doctor's opinions... But all have not been heard from yet. I know of no HHT in the Newberry Davenports, or any Native Americans.
