Mistakes in recordkeeping is not just an "old time" problem. Several years ago we were checking records in Austin and found that our son's birth certificate was in error. His birthday was listed as the 2nd rather than the 22nd, and his father's occupation was listed as fireman. His father was a rancher. If we had not found the error and corrected it just think what fun the descendants would have with that in future years! By the way, I am still hoping for information on the family of Seaborn Ludwell Davenport's family. Their occupations, etc. Surely someone knows more than I do which is nothing!! Mary Lou
