    3. Bob The Milton Historical Society in a letter to me during the 1980's listed six Davenport homes in Milton, MA as historic assets of th town. These are: (John) Davenport Farm, 1707, 1493 Brush Hill Rd.* Isaac Davenport House, 1794, 1465 Brush Hill Rd. Nathaniel Davenport House, 1788, 1238 Canton Ave. Nathaniel Davenport House II, 1825, 1514 Canton Ave.** Phineas Davenport House, C.1802, 1580 Canton Ave. William Davenport House, 1780, ! Green St. * This is a salt box colonial type home we were able to go through. Land bought from the indians. ** Wow! Stone wall on a two lane road, rising green area, beautiful mansion in the distance. The Davenports were involved in Milton for 200 years. The Library there has a History of Milton book that has the Davenport story. The Brush Hill homes were still in the Davenport family when I visited there in the 1980's. Hope this helps, Russ
