That is alot of people to research locally without trying to get to England too. Here, I can physically do the research and have distant cousins in on the act. Except for my Scotsmen, I am 10-13th generation American on all my lines so I am kept quite busy in the US. Someone talked about books not being accurate. Right now, those who descend from Oliver Davenport are in a discussion about who did he marry? Hannah Soby or Hannah Seeley? More and more it looks like Soby but yet even the DAR papers accept Seeley. Or in other surnames there are bogus lines. Phoney genealogists made up royal ancestors where none exist to please 19th century customers. Valerie
